用网络引导并安装expert26，在选debian.cn99.com的ftp mirror后，安testing会出现
        no kernel modules were found ...........................................

            continue the install without the kernel modules?
然后我又选了一个香港地区的mirror和一个美国的mirror,都出现同样的问题，但如果我安stable就没有什么问题。
请问各位高手，这是什么问题？

三个版本的内容是不太一样的,你现在装的什么版本呢.要不网上下个包自已装就是了

不过现在主要的问题是,我想确定一下.我的安装方法有没有错误的地方.别人安Debian的testing都是这样安的吗,如果是的话为什么他们行我的就不行呢?或者是安装testing的时候还有什么其它细节我没有注意到?也或者是testing的安装只能从stable升级而得到?

版主你好.你给介绍的那个网页我去看了.不过他与testing相关的信息也只是在从stable升级方面有介绍.他的基本系统的安装步骤太简单,而我就是想知道在安基本系统选择安装源时可不可以选择testing直接安装.下面是选debian.cn99.com的testing出来的提示(如果选stable是没有这个提示的)然后就没法继续了.其它地区的安装源也不行.

testing的kernel和stable的kernel版本是不一致的。除非你有testing的启动＋安装盘，不然就算按好了也可能会有其他的问题。

版主你好，我又去

下了个netboot.tar.gz。然后安在服务器上。安装的时候还是会出现前面那个提示。我选择<yes>继续安。但是到后面检测硬盘的时候怎么都找不到硬盘。我分别用了一台有SCSI盘的机器和一台DELL的笔记本来安都找不到硬盘。感觉就像它说的“No kernel modules were found”。

问题还是你下载的这个咚咚里的内核和testing上的内核不匹配，不匹配就找不到模块，找不到模块就无法加载modules。

BTW：如果做服务器的话还是用centos或是rhel好，性能上他们比默认安装的debian好不少。

好的，我再找其它一些安装文件来试试，实在不行就在stable安装完毕后的第一次base-config中选testing来升级啊。反正我也没有太多时间来玩testing，我现在主要在学服务。只是有时候有点抗Microsoft。想把cedega安上后就再不用windows了。
我不否认RedHat的实力，不过rhel好象不是谁都能用的。我觉得没有注册的rhel4会莫名奇妙的出一些问题。所以我还是用CentOS。
