我也碰到类似错误，我一开始以为是apxs问题，在我找不到apxs后我重新编译apache2.2，但问题依旧，请知道答案顺便copy给我一份。

今天静下心来想了一下可能是缺少了一些必要的软件，例如：re2c、bison等。
下载re2c-0.10.6.tar.gz，编译安装后少了一个警告。
下载bison-2.3.tar.bz2，编译安装后又少个警告。
下载flex-2.5.33.tar.bz2，编译安装后上面的错误基本消除。
安装好软件后记得做ln到/bin目录下，不然系统找不到re2c、bison、flex这几个工具。

然后就是安装libxml2这个软件，这个软件不用设置--prefix参数，只是./configure安装就行了，不然php5会找不到的。

经过了两天的折磨，终于安装成功 apache2.2.3+php5.2.0
