用rpm -ivh xxx.rpm命令装上了，由于我没有安装引导管理器(一直用rh8的grub直接引导)，因此只好自己手动修改rh8的grub.conf来启动新内核，不知道是否少掉了vga参数，无法进入bootsplash模式
其他一切正常，包括默认cp936支持

这个问题是因为沿用了gcc-3.2.2来自redhat造成的。我升级gcc的目的就在这里，反正不能用现在这个gcc，不如省级一下。

OK，I see,rpm -qi 直接拷贝系统中的信息的问题，呵呵，没注意。

不过rh到现在为止还没有2.4.21的src.rpm包，所以抄袭的嫌疑也就没有了。

不过安装新内核以后进不了 X 了。我想重新安装 NVIDIA 驱动，又报告没有 kernel source ！正在下载 2.4.21 kernel source...
