金山办公软件副总裁章庆元在其微博中发表了一条微博，称金山正在开发 WPS For Linux 的版本，并放出了截图。
有消息称，此版 WPS For Linux 将为原生版，不使用 Wine ，Java 等技术，完全采用 C++ 开发，用 Qt 制作界面。
此前，WPS 曾经推出过 WPS for Linux , 但为 Windows 移植的版本，性能一般。
